After going through experiences where you didn’t get what you want…
You might have picked up the idea that you don’t deserve your desires.
You don’t deserve good things. You don’t deserve life to work out for you.
From this standpoint, it’s easy to go into proving mode…
To go out of your way over and over again to prove how valuable you are. You’re always on edge. You are always observing the feedback
You always feel like something is missing… there is something more you need to achieve or be.
You can’t relax. You can’t let go. You can’t receive.
But when you connect the dots - from safety, trust and shame to guilt, expansion and love...everything falls into place.
Manifesting has never been so safe, so easy and so expected.
Music and podcast listening can indeed play a role in trauma recovery by helping to engage the brain in ways that promote healing and growth. When complex trauma survivors engage with music or thought-provoking content, it activates the prefrontal cortex—a region critical for decision-making, self-regulation, and emotional processing.
Here’s a bit more about how it works:
1. Activation of the Prefrontal Cortex: This is the part of the brain responsible for higher-order functions like planning, focus, and self-control. For trauma survivors, who may have an overactive amygdala (responsible for the “fight or flight” response), engaging the prefrontal cortex helps bring the brain into a state of calm and control, reducing stress responses.
2. Improved Brain Connectivity: Music and engaging auditory input encourage both brain hemispheres to synchronize, facilitating communication between the emotional and rational centers. This connection allows for a more balanced perspective, better emotional regulation, and, over time, the creation of new neural pathways.
3. Manifestation and Synapse Building: When the brain is calm and engaged, it can more effectively process new beliefs and visualize positive outcomes. The repeated exposure to uplifting or meaningful content helps reinforce these pathways, making manifestation a more achievable, grounded practice.
4. Neuroplasticity and Healing: Consistent activation of these areas helps the brain build resilience, form new synapses, and reframe past experiences. This strengthens an individual’s sense of agency and, gradually, their belief in their ability to shape a better reality.

Welcome to episode four. Today I'm going to share a little bit about your brain and why conventional manifesting doesn't really work. Because what happens is that as soon as you sit down to meditate, visualize, people will say, Oh, just do it for a week. I'll just try and become consistent. But if you're neurodivergent, Or you have experienced complex trauma or are a trauma survivor, then your brain is wired differently.
These are facts, which means that as soon as you sit down to become consistent and you build a routine, what happens is that your prefrontal cortex shuts down. It just, it shuts down. As soon as you sit down, you visualize or you try and build it into your brain. Your day to day And then you'll realize after a while.
Well things aren't shifting things aren't happening because there are two things that have to happen For things to shift in your 3d reality. You gotta feel it in your body, right? So Because your body is an electromagnetic being, right? Well, you are an electric, electromagnetic being, and your desires have to be able to flow through you.
That's why we often say clear out your emotions, any stuck energy, so things can flow through. However, there's this one element of manifesting that no trauma survivor knows about, But maybe have has used here and there And that is actually listening to music or a podcast or anything else while you are manifesting So this means you might be listening to a podcast and your prefrontal cortex will be activated That means in that moment you are tapped in because at the end of the day You are Becoming a superhuman in that state and that's when you pull in your desires.
Make sure that you realize the difference between your ego and your desires. So for me, one of the biggest things I need to work on is my ego, all of us, but more so it's that inferiority superiority complex. So I'll often go into fantasy around whatever it might be. Yes, what was it yesterday? Um, Oh yeah, so I am a, I love sharing just everything about myself.
Um, I love, um, supporting homeboy industries and I have this fantasy of walking in and, and like just being the hero of that story. Which is so ego, what, who am I to think that I, you know, and, and also that's not where we should come from when we are helping people, but this is my ego. Um, and that's where I first go when I do activate my prefrontal cortex, which oftentimes shuts down.
for trauma survivors when we are trying to do something nice, because desiring a better life, wanting more money, desiring an incredible career, whatever it might be, is a consistently beautiful thing. We aren't used to consistently having a good time, which means this does require work and willpower to overcome those beliefs, thought forms, whatever is stuck inside of you, right?
So when you are activating your prefrontal cortex, what happens is that your brain halves are actually creating synapses in your brain. It's, it's clicking here, left, right, and center. We'll, Very quickly change your state. And in that new state, I want you to become aware, aware of how it feels, aware of where it feels, what it feels like, what are the thoughts and the emotions?
So the things that come up the first at the beginning are the things we need to clear first. So if there's anything around for me, it'll always be my ego, something that I'm working on right now to release. And I'm always really gentle with myself. I'm like, if I don't do it today, I'll do it tomorrow.
whenever. It'll be fine. It'll come up in divine time. I've given up trying to control things. Doesn't work. So what happens, I'll clear that out and then I'll have to use willpower to focus on exactly what I desire. Here, what I want to share with you is another little tiny piece of information that's really important.
So you can have ask and you shall receive. All the kingdom office is yours. We know that, um, seek the kingdom first, right? It's like, we know that at the end of the day, anything is ours. However, we want to make sure we are discerning between ego and true heart's desires. So while it's not wrong.
Visualizing things that you desire I would rather start with the things that your god self has sent you so those might be visions, right? You might have seen yourself on a stage signing a book. You might have seen a number you might have seen and instead of Sometimes clients get tripped up on the number, right?
It's like always incredible. What if you said I'm open to receiving what is available to me right now? Because that takes the pressure off a certain number for especially trauma survivors, you know, manifesting as a complex trauma survivor. There's often that big boo boo in this, in the room of worthiness.
Am I even worthy of that? And that can cause because they are unconscious. Remember I said, there are a lot of hidden things for us, hidden beliefs, hidden thoughts, um, a lot of things just hidden from us that we aren't consciously aware of. So using music or a podcast, anything that's activating your prefrontal cortex is going to help you step into that state of manifestation of co creation in your Instantly, and here, make sure you become aware first, your first job is to become aware of what is coming up.
If there are things to be cleared, that's for you. It's always happening for you, because what you've asked for is basically in the unseen world. You're in the astral, right? Which means anything you ask for is around you already. That's just law. The only thing is allowing it to move through you because then basically you are matched to it.
So it's not just coming towards you. It actually has to go through you. So if there are things you desire, how comfortable do you feel allowing it to flow through you? through you. So you might ask for half a million. Let's take that example. But if you have terror anxiety of having that flow through you, and the first thoughts that come up are, what am I going to do with that?
Oh my God, taxes or whatever it might be. You're not a match to it yet. So here we ask for what is in my highest interest right now? What is the amount that is available to me at this time? Because that will be the month that you feel comfortable with. If it's your career, we will ask for the divine design.
Of your life because 98 percent of clients I've worked with are on a minor soul purpose And to really embrace your major soul purpose or the divine selection divine plan of your life Sometimes things need to fall away. So when you are asking for that might seem like Everything's going wrong, but it's actually all going right for you.
